Digital Music Ensemble -
The Digital Music Ensemble is an 11-year old project at the University of
Michigan that includes students from Music, Art, Engineering and Dance
directed by Stephen Rush. In Digital Music
Ensemble, the students work with Professor Rush to collaborate in
the creation of new work, or perform innovative music/art works from the
past, works largely ignored by mainstream academe.
The students are encouraged to realize their artistic goals by utilizing
often unconventional means.
