A recent special event:  the University Symphony Orchestra's performance in Carnegie Hall in February 2008!

The University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra took the world’s most famous concert hall by storm in February 2008. Under the direction of Professor Kenneth Kiesler, the student musicians showcased their incredible talents with performances of Mahler’s Symphony No. 5 and a new work by U-M composer Evan Chambers.  En route, the orchestra performed at Oberlin, the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford, and Cornell.  Read more...
