DEADLINES & OPEN/CLOSED PROGRAMS

When a degree program is listed as "closed", it means that new applications will not be accepted for consideration.  Applications on file prior to the closing date will receive full consideration.

Undergraduate Deadlines

• December 1
  Suggested deadline for receipt of all application materials for those who wish to receive merit-based scholarship award consideration. Final deadline for all applicants to the Musical Theatre program.
  
• January 15
  --Deadline for submission of all recorded auditions for scholarship consideration.
  --The firm application deadline for those auditioning in person for Fall term admission. In order to receive merit scholarship consideration, all application materials must be submitted and an audition, interview or portfolio review must be completed by March 7, 2008.  For information about required application materials, please visit our application checklist.
  
• March 1
  Final deadline for taped auditions for admission-only (no scholarship) consideration. Applications must already be on file, submitted no later than January 15.

Applicants to programs that require an audition and/or interview should refer to the Auditions page for more detailed deadlines.

Highly competitive programs may close to new applications at any point after January 15.  The School of Music, Theatre & Dance may continue to accept both freshman and transfer applications in programs for which openings still exist after January 15 without scholarship consideration.

 

FALL 2008 (Classes begin in September 2008)

As of February 1, all programs are now closed.

Deadline History:

January 15, 2008

This is the last day to apply for most programs. 

January 10, 2008

We are in the last days before the January 15 final application deadline.  Most of our programs will close to new applicants on January 15.  If you still want to apply, you must do so immediately.  

December 14, 2007    The Musical Theatre program is CLOSED to new applicants.  Applications submitted prior to this closing date are being processed and will receive full consideration.

December 7, 2007    

We are currently in the "grace period" phase following the December 1 application deadline.
